Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑
治老人血少, 腸胃乾燥, 大便閉結, 甚至七八日難下, 色如猪糞, 少如羊糞者. 當歸ㆍ生地黃ㆍ枳殼ㆍ桃仁ㆍ麻仁 各等分. 右爲末, 蜜丸梧子大, 空心, 米飮下四五十丸. 《醫鑑》
Translation
Treats the old with scant blood and the intestine and stomach dry, the stool shut and bound so that seven or eight days pass before it comes down with difficulty, the colour like pig's dung, or scant like sheep's dung. Tangkuei, raw rehmannia, bitter orange, peach kernel and hemp seed, equal parts. Powder, make honey pills the size of a paulownia seed, and take forty or fifty on an empty stomach in rice water. — Gogeum Uigam 醫鑑 (Donguibogam · Daebyeon)
