Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑

治風秘, 尊年人宜服. 皂角(灸)ㆍ枳殼各等分. 右爲末, 蜜丸梧子大, 米飮下七十丸. 《得效》

Translation

Treats wind constipation; suited to the venerable in years. Roasted soap-pod and bitter orange, equal parts. Powder, make honey pills the size of a paulownia seed, and take seventy in rice water. — Seui Deukhyobang 得效 (Donguibogam · Daebyeon)

Clinical commentary 臨床

Two drugs, and the lesser of the name distinguishes it from the ten-drug Soap-Pod Pill earlier. Roasting the pod moderates it; bitter orange moves the qi.
