Clinical commentary 臨床

**This must not be prepared.** Cinnabar in the pill and again as the coating, musk and pit viper and tiger bone all from protected species, tiger bone prohibited outright. The formula is an imperial pharmacy's catalogue of everything then believed to act on wind, twenty-four drugs all at five don, and it is useful chiefly as a record of what a court dispensary had on its shelves and how it processed each item: wine for the achyranthes and clematis, butter-roasting for the tiger bone and licorice, sour millet water for the arisaema. Those processing notes are the part of the entry worth keeping. — Eui Young (Justin) Chung, L.Ac., Dipl. O.M.
