Clinical commentary 臨床

**This must not be prepared.** Cinnabar is mercuric sulphide and the dose here is substantial; the human nail parings are an ethnopharmacological curiosity with no demonstrable action. Charring with the nature retained is the standard preparation for keratinous and animal materials and is worth noting as technique. The indication, trembling of the hands and feet that will not stop, is a recognizable description of the myoclonic jerking of tetanus or of severe metabolic disturbance. — Eui Young (Justin) Chung, L.Ac., Dipl. O.M.
