Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑

治急慢喉閉腫塞不通. 芒硝四兩, 靑黛ㆍ白殭蠶ㆍ甘草各八錢, 蒲黃五錢, 馬勃三錢, 龍腦ㆍ麝香各一錢. 右爲末, 每一錢井水調膏細嚥, 卽破出血便愈. 如不是喉痺, 自然消散也. 無芒硝代以焰硝. 《御院》

Translation

Treats sudden or gradual throat closure with swelling and blockage. Mirabilite 4 nyang; indigo, silkworm and licorice 8 don each; cattail pollen 5 don; puffball 3 don; borneol and musk 1 don each. Powder them, and take 1 don at a time mixed with well water into a paste and swallowed slowly; it breaks and bleeds and heals at once. If it is not a throat impediment, it disperses of itself. — Eowon 御院 (Donguibogam · Inhu)

Clinical commentary 臨床
