Translation

Treats wrapping throat wind — divinely effective. Mirabilite 1 nyang; silkworm 5 don; licorice 2 don 5 pun; indigo 1 don. Powder them and apply a little in the throat; where the closure is severe, blow it in through a bamboo tube. — Yuchwi 類聚 (Donguibogam · Inhu)

Clinical commentary 臨床

The same four medicinals as the Mouth chapter's Blue Snow, differently weighted. Mirabilite in the mouth draws water out of a swelling, which is why it heads so many of this chapter's powders. — Eui Young (Justin) Chung, L.Ac., Dipl. O.M.
