Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑

治咽喉諸病, 通利七竅, 爽氣淸神, 除熱消痰, 消風化滯. 薄荷葉五兩三錢, 桔梗一兩半, 川芎ㆍ防風ㆍ甘草各一兩, 白豆蔲五錢, 片腦三錢, 縮砂仁二錢. 右爲末, 蜜和每兩作二十丸, 每一丸細嚼茶淸下, 噙化亦可. 《御院》

Translation

Treats all diseases of the throat: frees the seven orifices, refreshes the qi and clears the spirit, removes heat and disperses phlegm, disperses wind and transforms stagnation. Mint leaf 5 nyang 3 don; platycodon 1 nyang 5 don; chuanxiong, saposhnikovia and licorice 1 nyang each; cardamom 5 don; borneol 3 don; amomum 2 don. Powder them, bind with honey into twenty pills to the nyang, and chew one down with clear tea, or melt it in the mouth. — Eowon 御院 (Donguibogam · Inhu)
