Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑

治婦人頭風, 十居其半, 每發必掉眩, 如立舟車之上, 盖因肝虛風襲故也. 當歸ㆍ川芎ㆍ生乾地黃ㆍ防風ㆍ荊芥ㆍ羌活ㆍ細辛ㆍ藁本ㆍ石膏ㆍ蔓荊子ㆍ半夏ㆍ旋覆花ㆍ甘草各五分. 右剉, 作一貼, 入薑三片, 棗二枚, 水煎服. 《醫鑑》

Translation

Treats a woman's head wind, which half of them have; on every attack she reels and is dizzy, as though standing on a moving boat or cart, and it comes of the liver being vacuous and wind falling upon it. Angelica, chuanxiong, dried fresh rehmannia, saposhnikovia, schizonepeta, notopterygium, asarum, ligusticum, gypsum, vitex fruit, pinellia, inula and licorice 5 pun each. Cut up, make one packet, add 3 slices of ginger and 2 jujubes, decoct in water and take. — Gogeum Uigam 醫鑑 (Donguibogam · Du)

Clinical commentary 臨床
