Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑

治風證眩暈. 山茱萸肉一兩, 山藥ㆍ甘菊ㆍ人參ㆍ川芎ㆍ茯神各五錢. 右爲末, 每二錢, 酒調下. 《本事》

Translation

Treats the wind pattern with dizziness. Cornus flesh 1 nyang; dioscorea, chrysanthemum, ginseng, chuanxiong and poria with pine root 5 don each. Powder them and take 2 don at a time stirred into wine. — Bonsa 本事 (Donguibogam · Du)

Clinical commentary 臨床

A dizziness formula with almost nothing dispersing in it — cornus and dioscorea supplement the liver and kidney, chrysanthemum settles the head. 1.8's rule is that dizziness without wind is vacuity, and this answers it. — Eui Young (Justin) Chung, L.Ac., Dipl. O.M.
