治三消. 歌曰, 消渴消中消腎病, 三焦五藏生虛熱, 惟有膀胱冷似氷, 意中飮水無休歇, 小便晝夜不流通, 骨冷皮焦心肺裂, 本因飮酒炙煿多, 酒餘色慾勞無節, 飮水喫食日加增, 肌肉精髓轉枯竭, 漩甛如蜜滑如油, 口苦咽乾舌如血, 三消病狀最爲危, 有此仙方眞妙訣. 黃連(童便浸三日) 三兩, 白扁豆(炒) 二兩, 蘆薈 七錢半, 辰砂ㆍ白茯苓ㆍ牡蠣粉ㆍ知母ㆍ苦參ㆍ鐵粉ㆍ天花粉 各五錢, 金ㆍ銀箔 各二十片. 右爲末, 生瓜蔞根汁和生蜜爲丸梧子大. 麥門冬湯下三五十丸. 《類聚》
Translation
Treats the three wastings. The song runs: 'Wasting-thirst, center wasting, kidney wasting — the three burners and five viscera engender vacuous heat; only the bladder stays cold as ice, while the mind would drink without cease. Urine flows unchecked day and night; bones cold, skin scorched, heart and lung split. It begins with wine and roasted rich food, with lust after drinking and toil without measure; the drinking and eating mount by the day as flesh, essence, and marrow turn withered and spent. The urine sweet as honey, slick as oil; mouth bitter, throat dry, the tongue like blood — of the three wastings the signs are gravest here, and in this immortal formula lies the true and wondrous secret.' Coptis (steeped three days in boy's urine) 3 nyang; white hyacinth bean (dry-fried) 2 nyang; aloe 7.5 don; cinnabar, white poria, powdered oyster shell, anemarrhena, sophora root, iron powder, and trichosanthes root, 5 don each; gold and silver leaf, 20 sheets each.
