Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑
香附米 一斤, 童便浸透, 水洗露一宿, 再浸再露再曬, 如此三次, 用好醋浸透一宿, 曬乾爲末. 益母草 十二兩, 東流水洗淨, 烘乾爲末. 右別以香附 四兩, 艾葉 一兩, 煮取汁, 用三分醋七分, 和前二末, 爲丸梧子大, 空心臨臥, 淡醋湯下七九十丸. 不惟治婦人百病, 而生育之功效如神. 《醫鑑》
Translation
Cyperus 1 geun: steeped through in child's urine, washed in water and left out for a night; steeped again, left out again and sun-dried again, three times in this way; then steeped through in good vinegar for a night, sun-dried and powdered. Motherwort 12 nyang: washed clean in east-flowing water, dried over a low fire and powdered. Separately boil 4 nyang of cyperus and 1 nyang of mugwort leaf and take the liquor; using three parts of it to seven parts vinegar, mix with the two foregoing powders and make pills the size of a firmiana seed. On an empty stomach and at bedtime take seventy to ninety down with weak vinegar decoction.
