Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑
治五痔及諸痔. 蝟皮 四兩, 猪懸蹄 二十五隻, 牛角䚡 三兩, 亂髮ㆍ敗棕 各二兩, 槐角 一兩半, 苦練根 一兩二錢半, 雷丸ㆍ脂麻 各一兩. 右剉碎盛磁缸內, 火煆存性爲末, 入乳香 五錢, 麝香 二錢和勻, 酒糊和丸梧子大. 先嚼胡桃肉 一枚, 以溫酒呑下三五十丸, 空心晩食前, 三日除根. 《得效》
Translation
Treats the five piles and all piles. Hedgehog skin 4 nyang; twenty-five pig's dewclaws; ox horn core 3 nyang; tangled hair and old palm fibre 2 nyang each; sophora fruit 1 nyang 5 don; chinaberry root bark 1 nyang 2 don 5 pun; omphalia and sesame 1 nyang each. Cut them small, put them in a porcelain jar and calcine with the nature retained, then powder; add frankincense 5 don and musk 2 don, mix evenly and bind with wine paste into pills the size of a firmiana seed. First chew one walnut kernel, then swallow thirty to fifty with warm wine, on an empty stomach and before the evening meal, and in three days it cuts the root. — Seui Deukhyobang 得效 (Donguibogam · Huieum)
