Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑
治大寒犯腦, 頭連齒痛. 麻黃 三錢, 桂枝ㆍ羊脛骨灰 各二錢半, 羌活ㆍ草豆蔲 各一錢半, 當歸 四分, 藁本ㆍ蒼朮 各三分, 防風ㆍ柴胡ㆍ升麻ㆍ白芷 各二分, 細辛 一分. 右爲末, 先以溫水漱口, 以藥擦之. 《東垣》
Translation
Treats great cold offending the brain with the head and teeth aching together. Ephedra 3 don; cinnamon twig and sheep's shin-bone ash 2 don 5 pun each; notopterygium and round cardamom 1 don 5 pun each; angelica 4 pun; ligusticum and atractylodes lancea 3 pun each; saposhnikovia, bupleurum, cimicifuga and angelica dahurica 2 pun each; asarum 1 pun.
