Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑
治鼻塞腦冷, 淸涕不止. 細辛ㆍ川椒ㆍ乾薑ㆍ川芎ㆍ吳茱萸ㆍ附子 各七錢半, 皂角屑 五錢, 桂心 一兩, 猪油 六兩. 右煎猪油成膏, 先一宿以苦酒浸前藥, 取入油煎, 附子黃色止, 以綿裹塞鼻孔中. 《入門》
Translation
Treats a blocked nose with the brain cold and clear discharge that will not stop. Asarum, Sichuan pepper, dried ginger, chuanxiong, evodia and aconite 7 don 5 pun each; gleditsia shavings 5 don; cinnamon heartwood 1 nyang; lard 6 nyang. Render the lard to an ointment; steep the medicinals overnight in vinegar beforehand, then put them into the oil and simmer until the aconite is yellow, and stop.
