先坎离丸

Equal parts, soaked in boys' urine and put through nine steamings, nine sunnings, and nine dewings before powdering; bound with a rehmannia paste into pills the size of parasol-tree seeds; 50–70 pills on an empty stomach with salted water or warm wine. Where the Spleen is weak, bind with a dioscorea paste instead. Note on modern practice: boys' urine (童便) is shown as recorded, for textual fidelity.

Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑

治虛火動, 遺精, 盜汗, 潮熱, 痰嗽. 黃柏ㆍ知母等分, 用童便浸, 九蒸九曬九露爲末, 以地黃煎膏和丸梧子大. 每五七十丸, 空心, 鹽湯或溫酒下. 脾弱者, 山藥糊和丸. 《入門》

Translation

Treats vacuous fire stirring, with seminal loss, night sweats, tidal heat, and phlegm cough. Phellodendron and anemarrhena in equal parts, soaked in boys' urine, then nine times steamed, nine times sunned, and nine times exposed to the night dew, and powdered; bound with a rehmannia paste into pills the size of parasol-tree seeds. Take 50–70 pills on an empty stomach with salted water or warm wine. For those weak in the Spleen, bind with a dioscorea paste. — Immun 入門 (Donguibogam · Hwa)

The regimen's first movement — the two coldest herbs in the vacuous-fire pharmacy, tempered by nine cycles of steam, sun, and night dew until their bitterness will not injure what it cools.
