Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑
治陰虛火動, 勞損之疾. 當歸(酒洗) 六兩, 熟地黃ㆍ生地黃(酒洗)ㆍ天門冬ㆍ麥門冬ㆍ山茱萸ㆍ牛膝(酒洗) 各四兩, 白芍藥(酒洗)ㆍ五味子ㆍ山藥ㆍ龜板(酥灸) 各三兩, 知母(酒浸 二兩, 鹽水浸 二兩), 黃柏(酒炒 三兩, 蜜水炒 三兩, 鹽水炒 三兩), 川芎 一兩. 右爲末, 蜜丸梧子大. 空心, 鹽湯下五六十丸. 《回春》
Translation
Treats Yin vacuity with fire stirring, and the illnesses of taxation detriment. Wine-washed Korean angelica 6 nyang; prepared rehmannia, wine-washed raw rehmannia, asparagus root, ophiopogon, cornus, and wine-washed achyranthes, 4 nyang each; wine-washed white peony, schisandra, dioscorea, and butter-roasted turtle plastron, 3 nyang each; anemarrhena — 2 nyang wine-soaked and 2 nyang salt-water-soaked; phellodendron — 3 nyang wine-fried, 3 nyang honey-water-fried, and 3 nyang salt-water-fried; cnidium 1 nyang.
