Clinical commentary 臨床

Cheoltan-won without the musk, which makes it the one formula of this family a modern reader could in principle consider — four drugs, no protected species, and the aconite blast-fried. Trogopterus dung leads and is the tradition's chief drug for stasis with pain; myrrh here outweighs frankincense, which is the reverse of the usual pairing and tips the formula toward breaking stasis rather than merely easing pain. Trogopterus dung is in practice unobtainable. — Eui Young (Justin) Chung, L.Ac., Dipl. O.M.
