Translation

Treats prickly-heat sores with itching and pain. Talc and mung bean flour in equal parts, powdered, dabbed on with a cotton pad. Adding phellodendron and jujube leaf 5 don each and a little borneol is better still. One version uses millet flour. — Uihak Immun 入門 (Donguibogam · Pi)

Clinical commentary 臨床

A dusting powder for prickly heat, dabbed on with a cotton pad. Talc and mung bean flour do the drying and the cooling between them, and the whole formula is food-grade — which is why the chapter offers millet flour as a substitute and why it could be used on a child. — Eui Young (Justin) Chung, L.Ac., Dipl. O.M.
