Clinical commentary 臨床

Eight mineral and shell powders and not one herb — the chapter's driest preparation, strewn on skin that will not dry. Clamshell and talc carry nine tenths of the weight; the small additions are the astringents. White lead is the one that rules it out. **Contains white lead, which is absorbed through macerated skin and cumulatively poisonous. This must not be prepared.** — Eui Young (Justin) Chung, L.Ac., Dipl. O.M.
