Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑

治久痢及泄瀉寒滑不禁. 赤石脂ㆍ乾薑(炮) 各一兩, 胡椒五錢. 右爲末, 醋糊和丸梧子大, 空心, 米飮下五七丸. 《入門》

Translation

Treats an enduring dysentery, and a diarrhoea cold and slippery that cannot be held back. Halloysite and blast-fried dried ginger, 1 nyang each; black pepper, 5 don. Powder, make pills with vinegar paste the size of a paulownia seed, and take five to seven on an empty stomach in rice water. — Uihak Immun 入門 (Donguibogam · Daebyeon)

Clinical commentary 臨床

Three drugs and a very small dose — five to seven pills where the chapter's other pill formulas give fifty or seventy.
