Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑
治傷寒不得汗作衄. 又治感寒, 衄吐血. 麻黃ㆍ白芍藥ㆍ黃芪ㆍ甘草(灸) 各一錢, 桂枝ㆍ當歸 各五分, 麥門冬ㆍ人參 各三分, 五味子 五粒. 右剉, 作一貼, 水煎服. 《東垣》
Translation
Treats cold damage where sweat could not be got and nosebleed followed; also treats contracted cold with nosebleed and vomiting of blood. Ephedra, white peony, astragalus and licorice (mix-fried) 1 don each; cinnamon twig and angelica 5 pun each; ophiopogon and ginseng 3 pun each; schisandra five seeds.
