Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑

治黃疸肨病. 鍼砂(煆紅醋淬)ㆍ綠礬(炒)ㆍ蒼朮ㆍ厚朴ㆍ陳皮ㆍ神麴各一兩, 甘草五錢. 右爲末, 蒸棗肉和丸梧子大. 切忌蕎麥ㆍ羊肉ㆍ母猪肉. 食之, 急死無醫. 《回春》

Translation

Treats jaundice with puffy swelling. Needle filings (calcined red and vinegar-quenched), green vitriol (stir-fried), atractylodes lancea, magnolia bark, tangerine peel and medicated leaven 1 nyang each; licorice 5 don. Powder them, bind with steamed jujube flesh into pills the size of a firmiana seed. Buckwheat, mutton and sow's flesh are absolutely forbidden; eating them, death comes suddenly and no physician can help. — Manbyeong Hoechun 回春 (Donguibogam · Hwangdal)

Clinical commentary 臨床

The prohibition is stated more sharply here than anywhere else in the chapter: eat these three and death comes suddenly, beyond any physician. Buckwheat appears again, as it did in Nokban-hwan, which suggests a real observed interaction rather than a formulaic caution.
