Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑
治經脉不調, 久不受孕. 香附子 十二兩(酒ㆍ醋ㆍ鹽湯ㆍ童便, 各浸三日焙), 當歸(酒洗)ㆍ白芍藥(酒炒)ㆍ生乾地黃(酒洗)ㆍ牡丹皮(酒洗) 各二兩, 川芎ㆍ白茯苓ㆍ白芷ㆍ乾薑(炒)ㆍ肉桂ㆍ紅花ㆍ桃仁ㆍ沒藥ㆍ半夏(油炒)ㆍ阿膠珠 各一兩, 玄胡索 六錢, 蓬朮(煨醋炒)ㆍ甘草(灸) 各五錢, 茴香(炒) 二錢. 右爲末, 醋糊和丸梧子大, 空心, 白湯或溫酒下百丸. 有孕勿服. 《回春》
Translation
Treats the menstrual vessels unregulated, with no conception for a long time. Cyperus 12 nyang, steeped three days each in wine, vinegar, salt water, and child's urine, then baked; wine-washed Korean angelica, wine-fried white peony, wine-washed dried raw rehmannia, and wine-washed moutan bark, 2 nyang each; cnidium, white poria, angelica dahurica, dry-fried dried ginger, cinnamon bark, safflower, peach kernel, myrrh, oil-fried pinellia, and pearled ass-hide glue, 1 nyang each; corydalis 6 don; curcuma (ember-roasted and vinegar-fried) and roasted licorice, 5 don each; dry-fried fennel 2 don. Powder the above and bind with a vinegar paste into pills the size of parasol-tree seeds; take 100 pills on an empty stomach with plain boiled water or warm wine.
