Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑
治産時下血過多, 虛極生風, 脣靑肉冷, 汗出目瞑, 命在須臾, 切不可用正風藥, 亟投此. 乳香ㆍ硫黃ㆍ五靈脂ㆍ太陰玄精石ㆍ陳皮ㆍ桑寄生ㆍ阿膠ㆍ卷柏 各等分. 右將前四石藥硏, 微火炒, 再硏細, 方入後四藥爲末, 以生地黃汁和丸梧子大, 溫酒下二三十丸. 《得效》
Translation
Treats blood lost in excess at the time of delivery, vacuity carried to its extreme and engendering wind — the lips green, the flesh cold, sweat coming out and the eyes closing, life hanging on a moment. On no account use the proper wind medicines; give this urgently. Frankincense, sulphur, flying squirrel faeces, selenite, tangerine peel, mulberry mistletoe, ass-hide glue and selaginella in equal parts. Grind the first four mineral medicines, stir-fry them over a low fire and grind fine again, then add the latter four powdered; bind with fresh rehmannia juice into pills the size of a firmiana seed and take twenty or thirty down with warm wine. — Seui Deukhyobang 得效 (Donguibogam · Buin)
