Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑
治喘至妙, 定喘化涎. 猪蹄甲 四十九箇(淨洗控乾), 每甲納半夏ㆍ白礬 各一字, 入罐內封閉, 勿令烟出, 火煆通赤, 放冷, 細硏, 入麝香 一錢, 以糯米飮調下一錢. 《本草》
Translation
Treats panting most excellently, settling the panting and transforming the drool. Forty-nine pig's hooves, washed clean and drained; into each hoof put a 字 measure of pinellia and of alum, place them in a crock and seal it so that no smoke escapes, calcine them to a red heat, let them cool, grind them fine, add 1 don of musk, and give 1 don stirred into glutinous rice water. — Jeungnyu Boncho 本草 (Donguibogam · Haesu)
