Translation
A piece of a gelded boar's gall the size of a jujube; seven apricot kernels worked to a paste; mirabilite 1 don; borneol 2 don. Powder them and take a little to dot on. — Uibang Yuchwi 類聚 (Donguibogam · An)
Clinical commentary 臨床
Four things for a perforated cornea with the iris coming through — bile, apricot oil, a salt and borneol. Nothing dropped on such an eye helps and anything put on it risks the inside; this is one of the places where the chapter was working at the limit of what it could see. — Eui Young (Justin) Chung, L.Ac., Dipl. O.M.
