Clinical commentary 臨床

Crab-eye is a dark mass pushing out of the cornea — a perforation with the iris coming through — and the pain is severe. Everything in the formula cools or drains, with reed root and bamboo leaf to take the heat out through the urine. In modern terms this is an eye at immediate risk and the treatment is surgical. **Antelope horn comes from a CITES-listed species and cannot lawfully be traded; goat horn is used in its place.** — Eui Young (Justin) Chung, L.Ac., Dipl. O.M.
