Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑
治陰黃, 冷汗不止. 茵蔯一物湯, 加附子(炮)ㆍ乾薑(炮) 各一錢也. 《活人》
Translation
Treats yin jaundice with cold sweat that will not stop. To the Virgate Wormwood Single Substance Decoction add aconite (blast-fried) and dry ginger (blast-fried) 1 don each. — Hwarinseo 活人 (Donguibogam · Hwangdal)
Clinical commentary 臨床
Sayeok-tang without the licorice, which is the difference from the formula above. Licorice moderates and holds; removing it leaves aconite and dry ginger to act without restraint, which suits sweating that will not stop.
