Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑
治陰黃, 遍身冷. 茵蔯一物湯, 加附子(炮)ㆍ甘草(灸) 各一錢也. 《活人》
Translation
Treats yin jaundice with the whole body cold. To the Virgate Wormwood Single Substance Decoction add aconite (blast-fried) and licorice (mix-fried) 1 don each. — Hwarinseo 活人 (Donguibogam · Hwangdal)
Clinical commentary 臨床
The first of the aconite formulas in the series, and the plainest. One case recorded at 5.7.6 names it: a patient whose cold damage was purged too late and turned yellow, with a pulse sunken, fine, slow and forceless — medicines were used in order until this one, with marked effect.
