Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑
治喉痺. 冬月靑魚膽用白礬入內, 臨用加百草霜ㆍ炒鹽少許, 醋調, 以鴨毛蘸藥引吐痰出. 如無魚膽, 用白礬 半兩ㆍ巴豆肉 十枚同枯過去巴豆, 用礬如上法吐痰神效. 吐後用<a href='/formulas/geumsoesi'>金鎖匙</a>吹之, 常服必用方甘桔湯最妙. 《入門》
Translation
Treats throat impediment. In winter put alum inside a black carp's gall; at the time of use add stove soot and a little fried salt, mix with vinegar, dip a duck's feather in it and draw the phlegm up. If there is no fish gall, calcine 5 don of alum with ten croton kernels and discard the croton, and use the alum as above to bring up phlegm — divinely effective. After the vomiting, blow in the Golden Lock Key, and taking the Piryong Licorice and Platycodon Decoction regularly is best of all. — Uihak Immun 入門 (Donguibogam · Inhu)
