Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑
一名返魂丹. 通治姙娠諸病, 及催生神效. 又治橫生逆産, 及死胎不出, 胞衣不下. 益母草<span class='sochu'>重午日, 不犯鐵器, 採取</span>洗淨搗取汁, 銀石器熬成膏. 右每取一大匙, 溫酒或白湯化下. 《丹心》
Translation
It is also called Return the Soul Elixir. It treats the various diseases of pregnancy generally and hastens the birth with spirit-like effect; it also treats transverse and breech presentation, a dead foetus that will not come out, and a placenta that will not come down. Motherwort <span class='sochu'>gathered on the Dano festival, without iron tools touching it</span>, washed clean, pounded for the juice, and reduced in a silver or stone vessel to a paste.
