治熱毒膿血痢. 黃連ㆍ黃栢各二錢, 白朮ㆍ黃芩ㆍ赤茯苓ㆍ赤芍藥各一錢. 右剉, 作一貼, 水煎服. 《丹心》

Translation

Treats heat toxin dysentery of pus and blood. Coptis and phellodendron, 2 don each; white atractylodes, scutellaria, red poria and red peony, 1 don each. Cut up, make one packet and decoct in water. — Dansim 丹心 (Donguibogam · Daebyeon)

Clinical commentary 臨床

The three yellows — coptis, phellodendron, scutellaria — with atractylodes and poria added so that the damp is drained as the heat is cleared, and red peony for the blood.
