Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑
治四種㿉疝, 卵核腫脹, 偏有大小, 或硬如石, 或小腹絞痛, 甚則囊腫潰爛出黃水. 橘核(炒)ㆍ海藻(鹽酒炒)ㆍ昆布(鹽酒炒)ㆍ海帶(鹽水洗)ㆍ桃仁(麩炒)ㆍ川練子(炒) 各一兩, 玄胡索(炒)ㆍ厚朴ㆍ枳實ㆍ桂心ㆍ木香ㆍ木通 各五錢. 右爲末, 酒糊和丸梧子大, 溫酒或鹽湯下六七十丸. 《入門》
Translation
Treats the four kinds of bulging mounting, with the testicle swollen and distended, one larger than the other, or hard as stone, or with a wringing pain in the lower abdomen, and at worst the scrotum swollen and ulcerating and running yellow water. Tangerine seed (stir-fried), sargassum (salt-and-wine fried), kelp (salt-and-wine fried), laminaria (salt-water washed), peach kernel (bran-fried) and toosendan (stir-fried) 1 nyang each; corydalis (stir-fried), magnolia bark, immature bitter orange, cinnamon heartwood, costus and akebia 5 don each. Powder them, bind with wine paste into pills the size of a firmiana seed, and take sixty to seventy with warm wine or salt decoction. — Uihak Immun 入門 (Donguibogam · Jeoneum)
