Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑

治結陰便血. 枳殼ㆍ威靈仙ㆍ黃芪ㆍ陳皮ㆍ椿根白皮ㆍ何首烏ㆍ荊芥穗各五錢. 右爲末, 酒糊和丸梧子大, 每服五七十丸, 陳米飮入醋呑下. 《寶鑑》

Translation

Treats bound yin with bloody stool. Bitter orange, clematis, astragalus, tangerine peel, tree-of-heaven root bark, fleeceflower and schizonepeta spike 5 don each. Powder them, make pills with wine paste the size of a firmiana seed, and take fifty to seventy at a dose, sent down with old-rice broth and a dash of vinegar. — Bogam 寶鑑 (Donguibogam · Hyeol)

Clinical commentary 臨床

The pill form of the same idea, and where Pyeongwijiyu-tang warms, this moves — bitter orange and clematis open, tree-of-heaven bark astringes, and the vinegar in the vehicle directs the whole to the blood.
