Translation

Treats a closed throat and single or double moth. The yellow lining of a fowl's gizzard from the twelfth month, dried in the shade and powdered fine, 1 don; mung bean flour 3 don. Bind with raw honey into three pills and melt one in the mouth — divinely effective. — Piryongbang 必用 (Donguibogam · Inhu)

Clinical commentary 臨床

One of the few formulas in this chapter with nothing poisonous in it, and it is melted rather than blown in. Mung bean flour is the tradition's standard cooling base for a throat. — Eui Young (Justin) Chung, L.Ac., Dipl. O.M.
