Translation
Treats long-standing cold of the spleen viscus with abdominal pain. Round cardamom (roasted), lesser galangal (stir-fried), white atractylodes, amomum, licorice (mix-fried), fresh ginger (roasted and cut), magnolia bark (ginger-processed) and jujube flesh 1 nyang each; green tangerine peel (stir-fried) and chebula flesh 5 don each; cinnamon 2 don 5 pun. Cut up, boil together in a wan of water until dry, pound into a ball, grind to a coarse powder, and take 3 don at a time stirred into freshly boiled water with a little salt. Abdominal pain on an empty stomach is hardest of all to find a medicine for; this one is especially good at stopping the pain, though the principle cannot be known. — Seui Deukhyobang 得效 (Donguibogam · Bok)
