Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑
治痔大便秘澁痛, 用此寬腸. 黃連ㆍ枳殼 等分. 右爲末, 麪糊和丸梧子大, 米飮下五十丸.
Translation
Treats piles with the stool bound, rough and painful; this is used to loosen the intestine. Coptis and bitter orange in equal parts. Powder them, bind with flour paste into pills the size of a firmiana seed, and take fifty with rice water. — Donguibogam · Hueum
