Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑
治氣鼓如神. 大蝦蟆 一箇, 以縮砂推入其口, 使呑入腹, 以滿爲度, 用泥罐封固, 火煆通紅, 烟盡取出, 候冷去泥, 細硏末, 爲一服, 或酒, 或陳皮湯調下, 候散屁多, 乃見其效. 《醫鑑》
Translation
Treats qi drum distension marvellously. One large toad; push amomum into its mouth and make it swallow them into the belly until full. Seal it fast in a clay jar, calcine over fire until it glows red through, and when the smoke is spent take it out. When cool, remove the clay, grind fine to a powder and make one dose. Send it down with wine or with a decoction of tangerine peel; abundant flatus is the sign of effect. — Gogeum Uigam 醫鑑 (Donguibogam · Changman)
