Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑
治虛火喉痺ㆍ喉痛ㆍ喉瘡, 最能降火. 桔梗ㆍ甘草 各一錢半, 熟地黃ㆍ白芍藥 各七分, 當歸ㆍ川芎ㆍ黃栢(蜜水炒)ㆍ知母ㆍ天花粉 各五分. 右剉, 作一貼, 水煎入竹瀝一鍾服. 《回春》
Translation
Treats vacuity fire throat impediment, throat pain and throat sores; best able to downbear fire. Platycodon and licorice 1 don 5 pun each; cooked rehmannia and white peony 7 pun each; angelica, chuanxiong, phellodendron (honey-water fried), anemarrhena and trichosanthes root 5 pun each. Cut up, make one packet, decoct in water and stir in a cupful of bamboo sap. — Manbyeong Hoechun 回春 (Donguibogam · Inhu)
