Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑

治癮疹瘙痒. 羌活ㆍ前胡各一錢二分, 人參ㆍ桔梗ㆍ枳殼ㆍ川芎ㆍ天麻ㆍ赤茯苓ㆍ甘草各七分, 蟬殼ㆍ薄荷各五分. 右剉作一貼, 入薑三片, 水煎服. 《得效》

Translation

Treats hidden rash with itching. Notopterygium and peucedanum 1 don 2 pun each; ginseng, platycodon, bitter orange, chuanxiong, gastrodia, red poria and licorice 7 pun each; cicada slough and mint 5 pun each. Cut up as one packet, add 3 slices of ginger, and decoct in water. — Seui Deukhyobang 得效 (Donguibogam · Pi)

Clinical commentary 臨床

Paedok-san's skeleton again, with gastrodia and cicada slough carried over from Cheonggi-san and ginseng kept in — the decoction version of the same idea, for a patient who will not take a powder in wine.
