Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑

治癮疹或赤或白瘙痒. <a href='/formulas/hyeongbangpaedok-san'>荊防敗毒散</a>(方見寒門)加天麻ㆍ薄荷ㆍ蟬殼, 入生薑三片, 水煎服. 《得效》

Translation

Treats hidden rash red or white with itching. Hyeongbangpaedok-san (its formula is in the Cold Damage chapter) with gastrodia, mint and cicada slough added; put in 3 slices of ginger and decoct in water. — Seui Deukhyobang 得效 (Donguibogam · Pi)

Clinical commentary 臨床

Hyeongbangpaedok-san with three drugs added, and the three are the skin's own: gastrodia for the wind, mint to vent it at the surface, cicada slough for the itch.
