Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑
治赤白濁及白淫通用. 黃柏(半生半炒)ㆍ蛤粉 各三兩, 滑石 二兩, 樗根白皮 一兩, 靑黛ㆍ乾薑(炒褐色) 各五錢. 右爲末, 炒神麴打糊和丸梧子大, 空心溫酒下七十丸或百丸. ○黃柏降陰火, 除濕熱. 蛤粉鹹補腎. 滑石利竅. 樗根白皮大燥濕熱. 靑黛解鬱降火. 乾薑斂肺氣下降, 生陰血, 鹽製炒微黑用之. 《丹心》
Translation
Treats red and white turbidity and white lewdness alike. Phellodendron (half raw and half fried) and clam shell powder 3 nyang each; talc 2 nyang; ailanthus root bark 1 nyang; indigo and dried ginger (fried brown) 5 don each. Powder them, bind with fried leaven boiled to a paste into pills the size of a firmiana seed, and take seventy or a hundred on an empty stomach with warm wine. Phellodendron downbears yin fire and removes damp heat; clam shell powder, being salty, supplements the kidney; talc frees the orifices; ailanthus root bark greatly dries damp heat; indigo resolves depression and downbears fire; dried ginger gathers the lung qi and makes it descend and engenders yin blood — salt-processed and fried slightly black for use. — Dansim 丹心 (Donguibogam · Sobyeon)
