Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑
治咯血唾血吐血. 眞生蒲黃ㆍ薄荷 各一兩. 右爲末, 每三錢, 以桑白皮湯調下. 《綱目》
Translation
Treats hawking, spitting and vomiting of blood. True raw cattail pollen and mint 1 nyang each. Powder them and take 3 don at a time stirred into mulberry root bark decoction. — Uihak Gangmok 綱目 (Donguibogam · Hyeol)
Clinical commentary 臨床
Two medicinals — cattail pollen to stanch, mint to cool the lung — in a decoction of mulberry root bark. Yongnoegyeso-hwan at the head of this section is the same idea at twenty times the size.
