Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑

治耳內痛生瘡. 桔梗 一錢半, 黃芪ㆍ柴胡 各七分, 鼠粘子ㆍ連翹ㆍ生乾地黃(酒炒)ㆍ當歸尾ㆍ黃芩ㆍ生甘草ㆍ灸甘草 各五分, 昆布ㆍ蘇木ㆍ黃連ㆍ蒲黃ㆍ草龍膽 各三分, 桃仁 三箇, 紅花 一分. 右剉, 作一貼, 水煎, 食後服. 《東垣》

Translation

Treats pain within the ear with sores arising. Platycodon 1 don 5 pun; astragalus and bupleurum 7 pun each; burdock seed, forsythia, dried fresh rehmannia (wine-fried), angelica tails, scutellaria, raw licorice and mix-fried licorice 5 pun each; kelp, sappan, coptis, cattail pollen and gentian 3 pun each; peach kernel 3; safflower 1 pun. Cut up, make one packet, decoct in water and take after food. — Dongwon 東垣 (Donguibogam · I)
