Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑
治耳內生腫, 紅如櫻桃, 極痛. 連翹ㆍ片芩(酒炒)ㆍ玄參ㆍ桔梗ㆍ梔子(酒炒)ㆍ鼠粘子(炒)ㆍ草龍膽(酒炒)ㆍ板藍根<span class='sochu'>卽菘藍子</span>ㆍ生甘草 各一錢. 右剉, 作一貼, 水煎, 食後服, 隨飮酒一二盞. 《醫鑑》
Translation
Treats a swelling arising within the ear, red as a cherry and extremely painful. Forsythia, sliced scutellaria (wine-fried), scrophularia, platycodon, gardenia (wine-fried), burdock seed (stir-fried), gentian (wine-fried), isatis root <span class='sochu'>that is, woad seed</span> and raw licorice 1 don each.
