Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑
治聤耳, 耳中乾結, 耳鳴而聾. 連翹 三錢, 柴胡 二錢, 人參ㆍ當歸ㆍ甘草 各一錢. 右剉, 作一貼, 入薑 三片, 水二盞煎至一盞, 去滓, 入水蛭末 五分ㆍ蝱蟲 三枚(末)ㆍ麝香 一分, 再一沸, 食遠服. 《東垣》
Translation
Treats a plugged ear, dry and knotted within, ringing and deaf. Forsythia 3 don; bupleurum 2 don; ginseng, angelica and licorice 1 don each. Cut up, make one packet, add 3 slices of ginger, boil in two jan of water down to one and strain; stir in 5 pun of powdered leech, three powdered gadflies and 1 pun of musk, bring to the boil once more and take well away from food. — Dongwon 東垣 (Donguibogam · I)
