Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑
治産後惡露方行, 忽然斷絶, 驟作寒熱, 臍腹百脉皆痛, 狀如錐刺. 桂心ㆍ赤芍藥 各五錢, 當歸ㆍ桃仁ㆍ沒藥 各二錢半, 䖟蟲ㆍ水蛭(幷炒) 各三十枚. 右爲末, 醋麪糊和丸豌豆大, 醋湯下三十丸. 《良方》
Translation
Treats the lochia flowing and suddenly cut off, with sudden chills and fever and pain in the navel, abdomen and all the vessels like the stab of an awl. Cinnamon heart and red peony 5 don each; angelica, peach kernel and myrrh 2 don 5 pun each; tabanus and leech (both stir-fried) thirty each. Powder them, make pills with vinegar-flour paste the size of a pea, and take thirty down with vinegar decoction. — Buin Daejeon Yangbang 良方 (Donguibogam · Buin)
