Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑
治咽喉痺腫塞. 膽礬 半錢, 全蝎 二箇. 右爲末, 以鷄羽蘸藥入喉中, 須臾破開聲出. 次用生荷葉硏細, 井水調下, 吐出毒涎卽愈. 未吐再服. 《直指》
Translation
Treats the throat impeded, swollen and blocked. Bluestone 5 pun; two scorpions. Powder them, dip a fowl's feather in the medicine and put it into the throat; presently it breaks open and the voice comes out. Then grind fresh lotus leaf fine, mix with well water and take it down, and the toxic drool is vomited out and it heals. If there is no vomiting, take it again.
