Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑

治首風. 川芎四兩, 天麻一兩. 右爲末, 蜜和一兩作十丸, 每一丸細嚼, 茶酒送下. 《河間》

Translation

Treats head wind of the first kind. Chuanxiong 4 nyang; gastrodia 1 nyang. Powder them and bind with honey, ten pills to a nyang; chew one fine and wash down with tea or wine. — Hagan 河間 (Donguibogam · Du)

Clinical commentary 臨床

首風 — head wind of the first kind, which 1.30 says comes of washing the head and then meeting the wind, so that the patient cannot bear to be in a draught and the headache comes the day before the wind changes.
