Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑

腦寒之病, 皆因邪攻於上焦, 令人頭痛晝夜不寧, 此藥主之. 石膏 二兩, 川芎ㆍ川烏(炮)ㆍ白芷ㆍ甘草 各一兩, 龍腦 二錢. 右爲末, 煉蜜同麪糊和勻, 每一兩作十八丸, 黃丹爲衣, 每取二三丸, 食後以葱茶煎湯嚼下. 《得效》

Translation

The disease of cold in the brain comes of an evil attacking the upper burner, making the head ache day and night without rest; this medicine governs it. Gypsum 2 nyang; chuanxiong, aconite main root (blast-fried), angelica dahurica and licorice 1 nyang each; borneol 2 don. Powder them, mix evenly with refined honey and flour paste, and make eighteen pills to the nyang, coated with red lead; take two or three, chewed down after food with a decoction of scallion and tea. — Seui Deukhyobang 得效 (Donguibogam · Du)
